Post Symbols or Objects?

Hey All,

When doing a private reading, How can you differenciate between a symbol and an actual item that the spirit person would have been very fond of?
For example: If I'm being shown a key... would that represent new doors being unlocked for an individual or whether the person liked old antique keys? I don't know too many people who like old keys, but you never know....
:D

Hi Estelle

Great Post. I think its all up to the client to try to see how they related to the symbol or object you are seeing. For example, if you are shown a key, perhaps you could ask the client if they relate to that symbol in any way becuase you are being shown that symbol or object. Maybe they lost keys recently? Or it symbolises new beginnings. But try not to get into interpreting for the client. Let them decide what that means. If they can't relate to it you can give an opinion that it could mean something new is on the horizon. Ask them if that makes any sense to them. Maybe they are changing jobs so the key is a 'symbol' to opening a new chapter in a career.

Again, we are given the information to pass on as uncontaminated as possible, so we have to try not to interfere too much with the information. We pass it on & ask the person questions on how that object may relate to their lives or how that object may have related to a person or loved one who has passed on. Maybe the Spirit is trying to establish who they are, so if you pass the information on that person may instantly understand what that means & who the person is. So the less you interpret for them the better. Let the client decide where possible .

If a client is struggling with the information or images then you could offer your opinion of what you 'feel' the Spirit is trying to relate. Always ask if the information makes sense to that person. Go with the emotion & feeling you are getting & pass that onto the client. They will start to make sense of it as you progress.

Hope that helps!
Keep up the great work!
Peter
